Terms of Service
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and SLOBI LINK, a business registered in Nigeria, concerning your use of Slobi.
1. Agreement and scope
By creating an account, accessing, purchasing through, or using any Slobi service, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference. If you use Slobi for an organisation, you represent that you can bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
"Slobi", "we", "us", and "our" mean SLOBI LINK. "Services" includes slobi.link and its subdomains, creator pages, storefront and digital-product tools, Studio, APIs, applications, emails, analytics, AI-assisted features, and social-platform integrations.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to sell products, receive payments, or enter paid plans.
- You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorised use.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring collaborators have suitable authority.
- We may refuse, suspend, reclaim, or rename accounts and slugs that impersonate others, infringe rights, create security risks, or violate these Terms.
3. Creator pages, products, and transactions
Slobi provides tools for creators to publish links, offer digital products, and communicate with customers. Unless expressly stated, Slobi is not the seller of a creator's product, does not endorse creator content, and is not a party to agreements between creators and their customers.
- Creators are responsible for product descriptions, pricing, ownership, quality, delivery, support, refunds, taxes, licences, and legal compliance.
- Customers must review the creator's offer before purchase. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
- We may delay, cancel, reverse, or investigate transactions reasonably suspected of fraud, error, sanctions exposure, chargeback abuse, or illegality.
- Payment processing is provided by third parties such as Paystack. Their terms and privacy practices also apply.
- Free products may be delivered without a payment step, but remain subject to access controls, licence terms, and abuse prevention.
4. Plans, fees, and cancellation
Prices, billing periods, included limits, and taxes are shown before purchase. Paid subscriptions renew for the stated period unless cancelled before renewal. You authorise our payment processor to charge the selected payment method. We may change future pricing after reasonable notice; changes do not retroactively alter a completed purchase.
Except where law requires otherwise or a specific offer says otherwise, fees already earned are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not erase amounts already due. Downgrading may reduce limits or access to paid features, and you should export content you need before a downgrade takes effect.
5. Your content and licence to Slobi
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Slobi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical formatting, transmit, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Services according to your settings.
You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for your content and its intended use. You may not upload confidential information belonging to another person without authority. Removing content ends this licence within a commercially reasonable period, except for cached, backup, legal, security, or transaction records we are permitted or required to retain.
6. Connected platforms
You may authorise Slobi to access accounts on services such as TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Meta products, or other providers. You direct us to process permitted account data and perform actions you request, subject to your approvals and the provider's rules.
- You remain responsible for activity published to connected accounts.
- You must comply with each provider's terms, community standards, API policies, and intellectual-property rules.
- Provider availability, permissions, rate limits, reviews, and APIs may change without our control.
- You may disconnect an account. We may also disconnect integrations that are insecure, revoked, unsupported, or non-compliant.
- Slobi is not affiliated with or endorsed by a provider merely because its integration is offered.
7. AI-assisted features
Studio may analyse information you provide or authorise, generate drafts, suggest strategies, summarise research, and automate approved workflows. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, non-unique, or unsuitable. It is assistance, not legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, or other professional advice.
You must review output before using or publishing it and remain responsible for factual accuracy, disclosures, permissions, platform compliance, and consequences. Do not use AI features to make unlawful discriminatory decisions, deceive audiences, impersonate people, create prohibited synthetic media, or process sensitive data without a lawful basis.
8. Acceptable use and enforcement
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, limit distribution, suspend features, preserve evidence, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, Slobi, or the public. We may report unlawful conduct and respond to valid legal requests.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
Slobi's software, branding, interfaces, documentation, and other materials are owned by SLOBI LINK or its licensors. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Services. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, bypass controls, scrape protected areas, or misuse our marks except as law expressly permits.
If you voluntarily provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, without transferring ownership of your existing content or confidential information.
10. Copyright and rights complaints
Send substantiated copyright, trademark, privacy, impersonation, or other rights complaints to support@slobi.link. Include your contact details, the affected URL, identification of the protected work or right, the basis of the complaint, and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate. We may request verification and notify the affected user.
11. Third-party services
The Services may link to or depend on third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, outages, security, pricing, or decisions. Your legal rights against a third party are not excluded by this clause.
12. Service changes, availability, and beta features
We may modify or discontinue features, impose reasonable limits, or perform maintenance. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes that significantly reduce a paid service. Beta, preview, experimental, and free features may be changed or withdrawn at any time and may contain errors.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific growth, sales, audience results, search ranking, social-platform approval, permanent storage, or that all errors will be corrected. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SLOBI LINK will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, or data, arising from the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid Slobi during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or NGN 50,000.
This limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, violation of non-excludable consumer rights, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.
15. Indemnity
If you use Slobi for business, you will defend and indemnify SLOBI LINK from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs resulting from your unlawful content, products, breach of these Terms, infringement of rights, or misuse of connected platforms. This obligation applies only to the extent caused by your conduct and does not cover Slobi's own negligence or wrongdoing.
16. Termination and effect
You may stop using Slobi at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful conduct, non-payment, security risk, or when required by a provider or law. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy. Clauses that by nature should survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability, and dispute provisions, remain effective.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before filing a claim, you and Slobi should attempt in good faith for 30 days to resolve it by writing to support@slobi.link. If unresolved, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria will have jurisdiction, without preventing either party from seeking urgent protective relief or using rights available under applicable consumer law.
18. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, security, provider, or product changes. We will post the updated version and revise the date above; material changes may also be communicated through the Services or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Questions may be sent to SLOBI LINK at support@slobi.link.
